suburban scapes is a continued search and investigation into family and Midwestern values. Discovering discomfort and fear of the suburban cookie cutter home and culture, I used family visitations as further discovery into a habituated and complacent domestic lifestyle. My photographs focus less upon a landscape of sameness but moreover an uncovering of imperfections and humor in the illusion of residential utopia.
